The function of the steering/brake controller (commonly known as the flasher) is to process the steering or brake operation signal when the rider is turning or braking, generate a pulse voltage, drive the turn indicator light and brake light to flash, and issue a prompt through the horn. The current steering/brake controller mostly adopts a modular structure, with a built-in flash control circuit and brake light control circuit. The flash circuit has the advantages of adapting to a wide range of input voltage changes, stable frequency of the flash control circuit, no contacts, and low power consumption; the brake light control circuit uses the brake power-off control signal to complete the control of the working state of the brake signal light.

The main fault caused by the abnormal steering/brake control circuit is that the turn signal and brake light cannot flash when turning or braking.

If it is confirmed that the input voltage of the circuit is normal, and its control end has a control signal input, but its output end cannot output a pulse drive voltage, it means that it is damaged.
